Ordering from SheIn

As you may have noticed, SheIn is one of my favorite places to shop! They have such a large selection of trendy items and designer dupes at an affordable price point. (Literally, you can order about 7-8 pieces for around $100! My husband tells me I have an unlimited SheIn budget, but I think he’s regretting that decision!) The prices are so low that many wonder whether they are a legitimate retailer. Well, I’m here to say they are! There are some positives and negatives to ordering from SheIn, so I’m here to answer all of your questions!

 

What size do you normally order in SheIn clothes?

I would always recommend sizing up in SheIn. I usually order a size large in most pieces. A lot of their tops and dresses run short (I’m 5’9 for reference), so sizing up gives you a little extra length.

What items do you buy from SheIn?

I’ve bought wide variety of items from SheIn: tops, dresses, sweaters, boots, sandals, handbags, sunglasses, beach bags, and beach blankets. I would compare the quality to Forever21 and H&M. (Some of the more expensive items ($30+) have turned out to be wonderful quality!)

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping from SheIn is free (it says on their website you have to order $49 worth, however there is always a free shipping code). I would ALWAYS recommend clicking the box to pay $2.99 for Return Insurance. This allows you to easily return items, and they will provide the shipping label.

Where are these items coming from?

Most SheIn items are coming from China, however they do have a warehouse in the United States. I’ve had items come as quickly as 2 business days and take as long as 15 business days. It usually depends on the number of items you order, but if you need an outfit quickly, I would make sure you order early.

How do my items arrive?

Usually, I receive my items via USPS. However, if you order a lot of items, I’ve had them delivered via DHL. If SheIn is using DHL, you will receive a text message with details. I always click on the link and check the box to leave the package without a signature required.

How do I return items?

Returns are free if you paid for the $2.99 of return insurance. (Swimsuits and jewelry cannot be returned.) To place a return, you follow these steps on their website: Sign in to your Account > My Orders > Return Item > Select the Item you want to return. This will generate a prepaid shipping label for you to take to USPS.

Does SheIn have discounts?

Yes, SheIn is almost always offering some sort of discount. Always check the home page before placing your order.
